The DPDP Act is one of the most significant laws enacted in the past few decades and will have a profound and transformational impact on India’s digital economy, data governance, and individual privacy rights. By regulating personal data processing, ensuring user rights, and enforcing accountability on data fiduciaries, the Act is set to shape the future of data protection, business compliance, and digital innovation in the country.
